You can connect camera system like VBOX HD2, AIM SmartyCam 3/4, or an action camera (e.g., DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro) directly to the RaceStreaming StreamKit. RaceStreaming also offers a simple bullet camera that can be added to your online order

Questions and Answers

No. The RaceStreaming StreamKit includes a built-in mobile modem and data plan for transferring your live video. The data plan is included in the pricing.

If you purchase a RaceStreaming StreamKit, it includes one year of subscription. The subscription covers the cloud infrastructure and the mobile data plan. The system automatically connects to the best available network at each race track.
After the first year, you can renew for € 1.104 / year.

After purchase you will get your own RaceStreaming Account, from where you can follow and share your live onboard video. You can share a live link during the race weekend. It works on any phone, tablet, or laptop — so you can share it with the team, sponsors, friends, and family. You’ll also get an ultra-low-latency stream link for VLC.

Yes. The broadcaster will also have access to your live onboard feed. From time to time, the broadcast may feature live video from your car.

Yes. The RaceStreaming StreamKit has been developed with safety as the top priority. When installed using the supplied mounting bracket, the system is securely fixed and race-proven. It features temperature monitoring, active cooling, and automatic shutdown protection, and has already been used in hundreds of race cars across many circuits.

Installation typically takes 15–30 minutes, depending on the camera setup and cable routing. Installation support is offered online by the RaceStreaming team.

The RaceStreaming system is provided with a small power bank and does not need a permanent power connection. The Power Bank will keep the system running between 6 and 8 hours on a full charge. You can also purchase a 12V adapter which can power the StreamKit with permanent power from the car.

Yes. The StreamKit can be removed quickly and cleanly without permanent modifications to the car.

RaceStreaming supports professional motorsport cameras such as VBOX HD2 and AIM SmartyCam 3 / 4, as well as action cameras like DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. HDMI and USB input is supported.

In most cases, yes. If your camera provides an HDMI or USB output, it can typically be connected directly. If you’re unsure, the RaceStreaming team can confirm compatibility in advance.

The StreamKit supports picture-in-picture and multi-camera setups, depending on configuration. During the race weekend rental, we will connect one camera to the system.

Yes. Teams often use the live stream and recorded footage to review driving lines, traffic situations, and race incidents.

Yes. If you purchase the system, you can use it at other events, series, and circuits worldwide — independently of the DSL events.

You will be able to use RaceStreaming during each race weekend at an affordable price. If you purchase your own RaceStreaming system via this offer, we will include add-on features like automatic cloud recording for instant replay, Live Center, and access to global Race Hubs (EU, Asia, Middle East and Americas) for ultra-low latency when racing outside of the EU.
